| David has been a trial lawyer for 21 years and served as Deputy Attorney General for the State of Delaware and as an attorney for the Delaware Division of Public Health. He has acquired a reputation representing clients successfully in Personal Injury, Workers' Compensation and Social Security Disability cases.
Workers' Compensation cases have run the gamut in complexity from obtaining death benefits for a deceased worker's family after he tragically committed suicide due to the severe pain from various failed back surgeries to simple medical bill disputes. Early in his career, David represented employers and their insurance carriers. Since then, he has represented countless injured employees before the Delaware Industrial Accident Board and the Supreme and Superior Courts of Delaware. His unique insight of "both sides of the table" has served both him and his clients well. David has also represented numerous Personal Injury plaintiffs in automobile collision, premises liability (slip and fall), medical malpractice, dog bites, and product liability cases. In that regard, he has settled and arbitrated countless cases and tried cases to conclusion before juries in the Superior Court. His largest settlement to date was in a premises liability case and totaled over $290,000. He has successfully obtained benefits for many disabled workers and others suffering from all forms of illness and/or physical disability in Social Security and Supplemental Security Income cases before the Social Security Administration, its Administrative Law Judges, the Appeals Council and the United States District Court. In addition, David has lectured to various civic groups and medical practices on how to obtain benefits in Personal Injury, Workers' Compensation, and Social Security Disability cases. David also represents folks charged with all forms of traffic violations, including DUI. David is a member of the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and was recently selected for inclusion in the online 2001 Best Lawyers in America's Consumer Guide. |
