Since joining the firm in 1989, Michael J. Chieco has continued to pursue litigation on behalf of individuals seriously injured by defective products, as the result of medical malpractice, at construction sites, and in motor vehicle accidents. In addition his extensive experience in personal injury litigation, Attorney Chieco provides representation to individuals who have been charged with criminal offenses. Attorney Chieco's trial experience began as an Assistant District Attorney in Springfield, Massachusetts. During the eight years he held that position he managed and tried numerous criminal cases at the trial and appellate level. Attorney Chieco is proud to have won an award of more than $3 million for the surviving family members of a victim of the September 11th World Trade Center attacks. Attorney Chieco attended the College of the Holy Cross and Western New England College School of Law. He co-authored a treatise entitled ÂEstablishing Liability in Vehicular AccidentsÂ and has been a presenter at numerous legal seminars. Admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Attorney Chieco is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, Hampden County Bar Association, and Massachusetts Academy of Trial Lawyers.
