Richard Griffin's focus in law school was on personal injury (tort), litigation, and worker's compensation. Richard Griffin was elected president of the Student Trial Lawyers Association. In 1994 Richard Griffin was a state finalist in the Intrastate Mock Trial Competition. Richard Griffin was granted an internship at The State Board of Workers' Compensation where he assisted the Workers' Compensation Judges and their staff attorneys writing orders and awards. While attending Emory University and Georgia State College of Law, Mr. Griffin gained valuable experience working for a local law firm that specialized in Wrongful Death, Personal Injury, and Workers' Compensation claims.
