| Steve Crandall been recognized as one of the top trial lawyers in the U.S. and Ohio for many years. Steve began his career as a defense lawyer, defending physicians, nurses and hospitals in medical malpractice lawsuits throughout Ohio.
Steve began his career learning to research and defend the insurance and medical industry in Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio in 1991. He began his work at Jacobson, Maynard, Tuschman&Kalur where he was trained at one of our country’s best trial programs continuing through 1997 in the Cleveland, Ohio area. From there Steve was hired by Reminger Co. LPA where he became a partner and continued his trial work in the areas of defending the insurance, medical and pharmaceutical industry. In 2001, Steve joined the team of Elk & Elk and changed the focus of his practice to representing the catastrophically injured against this same insurance industry. His former experience allows him to utilize his knowledge to help individuals and families against the medical industry, pharmaceutical industry and in cases regarding accidents and negligence of various kinds and has represented clients against the Federal Government and the State of Ohio in the Court of Claims. He has participated in various products liability claims, including Vioxx, Ortho Evra and Chantix litigation, earning him recognition as one of our nation’s top trial lawyers. Since becoming a Plaintiff’s attorney, Steve has been involved in many of our State’s largest verdicts and settlements in the areas of medical malpractice and personal injury. While serving as Co-Director of the Medical Malpractice Department of Elk & Elk, Steve has been involved in numerous multimillion dollar verdicts and settlements throughout the State involving various claims of personal injury, medical malpractice and products liability. In 2011, Steve formed Crandall Law, LLC, a firm that specializes in Medical Malpractice, Personal Injury, Products Liability, and Physician Business Law.
